Do not go with vitality, after my partner had a rather serious health issue, they incompetently booked in 2 cases and messed him around at an already stressful time. 'Computer says no' mentality, do not purchase their insurance as you will be paying for them to send you round in circles. Basic admin rubbish and faceless carelessness.

Update.

Put in a complaint, and then within the same phone call asked if they could close the complaint. They then asked who they should escalate the complaint to? Think they need to put in a proper procedure for complaints they receive, or maybe they are just trying to keep those stats down.

ROTTEN COMPANY - READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BUY!

I have been a loyal customer of Vitality for many years. I recently changed companies and tried to continue with the policy but they insisted that there were arrears on the old company. I told them that must be sorted by the old company and advised them that under no circumstances should they debit my new company. Guess what- THEY TOOK (STOLE) MONEY FROM MY NEW COMPANY!
I am now having to issue Court proceedings to recover what they owe me!
Please read reviews about this company before you buy. Ignore the expensive advertising. This is a BADLY RATED AND EXPENSIVE COMPANY and not to be trusted!

Vitality are an awful and deceptive company - the at fault driver who hit the back of our car used vitality car insurance. This led to a process that took 1 year for them to admit fault which only happened once the prospect of court was imminent . Vitality spent many months passing the case details between individuals in their company after being issued notice of the claim, each time telling our insurance company it wasn't the right person which would then trigger another 2 week notice period to respond.

Everything that all the negative reviews say on her are ? correct and accurate.

This company are nothing short of taking peoples money without providing what they are supposed to provide under the services.

If I could rate this company a zero then I would!!

Staff totally don’t know what they are doing, provide wrong advice that’s if they actually know!!

Direct you to services that are useless, pointless lengthy doctors appointments you could get quicker and better help from the nhs.

I had a fully family policy cancelled the whole membership scheme absolutely the worst customer experience I e ever had with any company.

They basically palm you off with nonsense replies if you can actually get any clear information through the multiple calls you will have to make gaining any sense around the scheme and access to the services you should have access into under the paid scheme.

Private healthcare an absolute joke….look for a company who actually provide the services you pay for!!

How this company continue to trade is beyond me reading these reviews, but I only wish I would have read them brighter buying services through my company for my family!!

Harassing phone call policy and marketing. We have made a quote and now we receive calls constantly. This is mental and counter-productive - convince to pick another provider.

I have had my car insurance with Vitality for two years. The payments are up to date. I had asked for help after the pandemic, as I had lost a chunk of my income and was struggling with the monthly direct debit. They did help me by rearranging the payment date after I said I was in financial hardship.

However, I didn't realise their help came at a price. Today, out of the blue, they have told me they will no longer be able to provide me with car insurance after my current term runs out. It is because of my falling behind due to the pandemic - even though I caught up the arrears, they had agreed to help and the policy has never been cancelled or defaulted.

So now, I am going to have to pay for new insurance (with a large deposit) when I can ill afford it, even though I am not in arrears with my Vitality policy. They were quite happy to take my money for the past two years. I would NOT recommend them. Most unhelpful when other service providers have been very helpful during and after the pandemic.

If I could have given them a 1star I would , can never speak to the correct person , always saying it’s the back office that’s dealing with the claim , claim been pending now for 3 months , just a big con , will never use vitality again !
