If i could give less than one star, i would.

This company are an absolute disgrace and I will never lease a car again where they are the backbone for the finance.

Its a shame as the car i had for three years was brilliant and had no issues, but the process of giving it back and making/reciving payments has been nothing short of atroscious. I have had easily over 15 phone calls and spoke to the same amount of people. Not one person gives you the same answer twice and they all run away from the point of the calls.
Even the customer complaint team tried to twist my words in my complaint which is disgusting.

Please be really careful when talking to these people and liasing with them.

They erroneously passed on my details to a debt collection agency (Themis recoveries), who have hounded me for a money, that I DO NOT owe.

After several email and calls, VWFS kept trying to reassure me saying there were no money owed and the case is closed.

Despite this Themis recoveries have continued to email me demanding payment. When I contact VWFS they are of NO help! And have no further support to offer.

Edited…..to say that after 6 or more phone calls and several emails, this was eventually rectified. But it really shouldn’t have been this hard.

Absolutely horrible experience. Everything last minute. Company not knowing polish regulations and not checking properly information declined finance and were not right about reasoning given. We have already paid large sum of money requested and car handover was postponed where we have done all arrangements already. Avoid at all cost!!

Very poor experience with leasing from VW.
On returning the car, I was fined for a missing compressor that had never been provided.
A phone call to the original dealer quickly resulted in documentary evidence that a compressor had never been provided.

My experience was not as bad as the ones on these reviews and I have never had a bad experience (I do not work for VWFS or any of its associated companies). But if they are true then VWFS really need to address this as soon as possible.

Shocking experience, would give zero stars if possible. Make it extremely difficult to sell the vehicle on. Pressure you into a 'second agreement' where you need to sell the vehicle within 3 months in order to get a refund but then delay delay delay. AWFUL

Absolutely terrible. I feel like to smash the car up and not give them a penny more, why can’t this people answer a simple question, useless if I was any closer to Wigan I’d drive to the warehouse and smash every car in sight

What a bunch of incompetent clowns. Please do yourself a favor and stay clear of VWFS.

Had my car unlawfully seized by the police, they informed VWFS, without listening to my side they issued a remedial notice of default giving me 10 days to clear the full finance as they will be terminating my agreement under breach of contract! They are non responsive to calls or email. Even with 2 emails from my solicitor! It was only after 5 visits to the police station (4 hours wait each time) fighting with them, that the police agreed the car was insured. Car was released back to me after 12 weeks! I raised a complaint with VWFS waited weeks for a response. Offered me £200 compensation. Now I’m taking the matter to the Financial Ombudsman service. Let’s see what they decide.
