After maintaining a top-rated adviser status for three years, I've chosen to leave VouchedFor. This decision came after an incident involving a potential client who reached out to me through the platform. Despite promptly attempting to contact them via phone call, voicemail, and text message and then again on three other separate occasions without any response, they left a negative review about the service they received. However, no service was provided.

Given that I was unable to establish contact with the client, it was evident that the review was unfounded. I approached VouchedFor to have the review removed, presenting clear information of my attempts to reach out, expecting an easy resolution. However, they advised their policy does not allow for the editing or removal of reviews or first impressions. They suggested I respond with an apology to them instead.

Upon requesting to cancel my account, I was then told that the review could be removed if I provided evidence. This revelation was disappointing. Despite having the means to dispute the review, my confidence in the platform has been shaken, leading to my departure.
