We had Tom Smith complete a level 2 Survey of a property we were going to purchase. Tom completed the survey as thoroughly within the timescale specified and followed this up with a call to explain the findings or more layman’s terms. Tom was lovely to deal with, kind and professional with a warm friendly manner. Went back to the property another day to follow up on a drain issue at no additional cost. Helpful and even recommended professionals to help with issues identified.

Tom Smith at W A Barnes was recommended as the best person for us to contact with a view to getting a valuation on a rental property that has been in the family since approximately the 1950`s. Tom responded very quickly, gave us his valuation soon after, and then visiting the property again with us to discuss with and re-assure the tenants with patience and kindness, to ensure that their preferences in terms of viewing arrangements etc, for the forthcoming sale were given the utmost priority, we arrived with no fuss at the auction date with Tom Smith as the Auctioneer and achieved an extremely satisfactory outcome, hopefully for us all.

Excellent service from this estate agent. I was recommended by a solicitor to contact them to obtain a RICS surveyor. The surveyor named Tom was excellent. Very professional throughout and advised me the complete process and that he would contact me with a value and subsequently provided me an official report which occurred few days later. We received an excellent service from W A Barnes. The home report on the property we are purchasing came back very quickly. We had to follow up with an inquiry one month later due to some new problems we discovered at the property. The surveyor offered to visit the property again free of charge the next day and advise on the work needed.
