We had a fanatic buying experience through Wards of Larkfield.
We found our dream renovation property and had our offer accepted. Unfortunately the buyers of our property pulled out and we needed to find another buyer.
Jane reassured us that we could have 14 days to find another buyer and after this time, we could come back to the seller and see if we could have more time.
Luckily we were able to sell our property within the time period.
Any time we had an enquiry and we called Wards, someone was always happy to help.
I have to give a special thanks to Richard - every time I called the office and asked if he was able to do something, he carried out the task within 5-10 minutes and called me back every time to say it had been done. I was really impressed with the speed and professionalism. It was lovely to finally meet the man in person on completion day and he was really friendly and congratulatory in regards to our new home.

I will not be using Wards ever again in the future nor will I be recommending them to anyone I know who is selling their house in the future. Feedback takes forever to come back from any viewings. The valuation of my property was over optimistic. This is a common occurrence not just with my property but the majority of other properties I've seen online with all agents, the majority of which have had to be reduced at least once during their listings, many twice. Is it seriously that difficult for Estate Agents to be honest about the valuation of a property, given market conditions with interest rates as high as they currently are, or do they get a kick out of getting our hopes up of might we might be able to move onto once our property is sold, only for those dreams to be dashed, because our property isn't worth as much as what they originally told us it was? If I agreed to a second reduction with Wards when they suggested I should, that would've meant a £50,000 reduction with them, and a £75,000 reduction since I started back in March with a different agent. I'll give credit to Wards where credit is due, they got five viewings through my door during the time I was with them, which is infinitely better than the one viewing I got with a previous agent, but let's be honest, the bar had already been set very low. It is hilariously ironic, how normally Wards have taken days to respond to the majority of my communication in the past but the moment I tell them I'm going to be writing a one star review on their page, they tried calling me within five minutes.

Had a great experience with Alex Martin from wards. She done an amazing job with helping us find our dream home for well over a month.
