Worst garage I’ve ever been to

Took my bike in as it wasn’t in a running state and asked to see if they could find the issue and sort it for me

After a week I got my bike back. Got charged £200 just to be told by some moron that they didn’t find the issue and that the bike runs now ( which it did for 2 minutes till the end of the road) the put a new battery and a bit of fuel in and that’s all they could be asked to do

I needed brake pads all around to my partners car, which bare in mind I supplied myself. My partner took it in and she asked for a rough price they quoted roughly £100.

After having the car from first thing in the morning 9am didn’t get a phone call until 14:30 almost 6 hours just to fit some pads. Was then told £200 for fitting poxy pads that I supplied, I asked the guy how he justified charging 2.5 hours labour for 1 hour maybe 1.5 hours max to complete, his response was the one front calliper was a bit tricky which I highly doubt because the car has only done minimal mileage. Absolutely disgusted and overpriced will never use these again and told that to his face pathetic, and a rip off. STAY WELL AWAY

I can't stress enough how friendly and hard these people work. I turnt up a single parent, in distress and they ordered the parts fitted it and didn't charge me heaven and earth. They were so friendly and so nice, I was terrified, but they put my mind at ease. Definitely reccomend them and will be using them in future.

Awful. I phoned in for abs fix on my van and the (very polite) receptionist and also a friendly mechanic told me they were happy to do the work and would give a couple of different quotes by the end of the day. I waited 2 days with no reply so called in. I then spoke to the owner who seemed to be doing basil fawlty impression. He was so rude and just said: “I don’t do that stuff”. I asked why and also why he didn’t just tell me that 2 days ago and he just said: “I don’t care, I don’t want to touch that”
So, you get a bad review on here for your rude behaviour. Good luck running a business like that

I booked in for wheel nut locks removal . I’d bought a pack of wheel nut locks which fit. All the garage needed to do was to swap them. I was quoted £25 plus vat, and when I got the call 2 hours later they charged me £114 - claiming the wheel nut locks were hard to get off (a lie) which they were going to say no matter what and charge me £50 for it - and they even charged me breakdown fee of £45 because they had offered to collect and drop off my car.
If I had known this would be charged to being a breakdown fee I would have brought it in myself.
Complete hiding of charges and exacerbating costs for money here. Total cost with vat was £114 for such a simple job.
Furthermore I was unhappy to find the mechanics had greased up my car seats and parking brake and steering wheel were completely covered in grease. I Can’t get the grease off my light coloured passenger seat.
When I was hit hard by this garage it stung and I felt in pain at the ruthlessness of the bloke who said “I’ve got staff to pay” when I told him I won’t be able to afford basic items if they charge me £114 when the quote was £25.
I’ll never use this rip off garage again.
Just giving an honest review … think before you dive in here! Also they put grease, stained all over my passenger headrest and other parts of the car. I can’t get it out. Not impressed

Absolutely wonderful service at this garage. Very friendly team, great communication, they could not do enough for me. Very good price. So welcoming at reception. I would definitely recommend and I will continue to use this garage.

Terrible experience.

They did the work and then tried to justify 4 hours worth of effort to replace one leaf spring. Considering that I had done the other one in 4 hours on my driveway just days before without any prior experience or specialist tools/training - it makes you wonder.

The manager bloke started trying to explain it was because they had needed to undo my work etc and when I said I didn't believe him, he asked if I was calling him a liar and proceeded to try and stare me out.

When I asked the mechanic to run through the actual steps he took, it equated to undoing 4 newly fitted bolts which they were suggesting had doubled the time to do the job and hence the exorbitant bill.

Added to this the joys of enduring the mouthy woman behind the counter trying to justify the bill by saying they had 'fitted me in' when I was the second entry on a full sheet of bookings and how I had used their courtesy car (a free service) - as if that justified what was an extra £120 charge.

I have no issue with the work done - the charging however is disgusting and reading other reviews, it appears to be a common pattern.

Good Garage Scheme!! Don't make me laugh...
