Amazing place to visit so many great childhood memories. There christmas displays are amazing, and I love now taking my children to see them. Would highly recommend. Can get very busy at evenings and weekends.

"Seen one garden centre you seen them all" - well not when it comes to Christmas you haven't. Whitehall has possibly the best Christmas display I have seen. We went there specifically for the Christmas display, weekends are packed, not so bad this time. Difficult to explain why it's good, it just sets you up for Christmas, even late October. I can't really say much about the rest of the centre, & I don't even know if there's a cafe (ice cream van outside). If you're in the area& love Christmas it's well with a visit from late October, but bring your plastic (or good old cash) as I doubt you'll leave empty handed. We certainly didn't!!

great garden centre, especially the magic they put on at Xmas. good food and wide range of decorations. number of pets out the back including donkeys, butchers, cafe, games, sheds and lots of plants. we go every year.

I was wowed by all the Christmas decorations and displays. Although it was 5th Jan, they were still up and can imagine it being a magical place to visit before Christmas.
The lower rating was due to the poor service there, staff pushing past you while they try and tidy up. Also, the young man on till had to be asked for fragile ornaments to be wrapped up. He used the bubble wrap but the way he did it they just unravelled. What was more shocking was that there was sellotape on a reel next to him.....I think common sense was missing. No bag offered either.

What a wonderful and magical their Christmas display is, we absolutely loved seeing all the different winter scenes and their themed decorations were beautiful. So much to see and do any time of the year and their cafe is superb as well.
