Unfortunately i didn't have the best experience with William H Brown.

I had found a property i liked and went to view it. this property was a project, a project i was happy with. after asking the estate agent if it was structurally safe to live in he assured us that a survey had been done on the house by the owner to confirm it was, and that this paperwork would be given when it came to having the house assessed.
after paying the £465 valuation fee i was assured by the same estate agent that the seller would be getting the paperwork straight over to them as soon as he was back from holiday.

during this time i went back to the property to measure up certain areas. at this point i was told by the estate agent that he was "in the naughty corner" at work and was going to be leaving, but was aloud to finish up this deal.

fast forward a couple of weeks, i have a call from William H brown to be told that the seller has backed out, and the estate agent i was dealing with no longer worked there.

after speaking with my mortgage advisor at Connells and explaining that the seller backed out when i was waiting on the survey paperwork, he then mentioned that when he had spoken to my estate agent he had been told that there was never any survey done on the house.

I was then advised to request a refund from William h brown, as it all sounded like a big red flag.
after contacting them and asking to put in a formal complaint, twice! i was assured someone would be in touch regarding the matter. this was months ago and i am still yet to have a reply.
