I had a fantastic dining experience here. My friends and I were seated immediately and were given little vegetable crisps with drinks order. Butter and warm cobs were served. A bottle of fresh water was provided without us having to ask. I had a pie with proper handcut chips and each of us was brought a dish of fresh vegetables. The food was delicious and my friends said their food was great, too. The lady who served us was friendly and capable.

Myself and mother in law went for an evening meal and found it to be lovely, and the windmill was stunning, the food was really good and all the staff were kind and very welcoming. They also went above and beyond by letting me take a wine glass for our caravan as there wasn't any. So thank you all once again and if I come back this way one day, I will definitely come again.

I have to say this is a delightful place and a real treat. All the food was lovely and beautifully presented. Service was excellent and we were made very welcome, including the dogs, allowed outside. A nice touch, the mini hand towels in the ladies.

We wanted a lovely meal to celebrate our 54th wedding anniversary and having review a few restaurants menus we plumped for The Windmill and we were not disappointed. Our starters of scallops were cooked to perfection as was the rare cooked fillet steak. The bottle of Pinot Grigio Rosé was a refreshing accompaniment to a warm evening. We were served by Olivia who was attentive and efficient. The deserts are to die for, so very yummy. The loos are clean and have hand cream as well as hand wash. Altogether a fabulous evening provided by a friendly team.

I have a Mother-in-law that dissects every dish she orders, a celiac wife and an autistic daughter that will only eat a limited diet. Well done the Windmill, you did a marvellous job. All the meals were excellent and the puddings were delicious.
All the staff were superb. The orders were taken and the food brought out in a very reasonable time.
