Amazing company, was insured for just under 2 years with a blackbox, I had a very small incident when someone went into me and my blackbox alerted the company and they called me in seconds to check I was okay and ask what happened, claim was closed and my insurance was not affected. When I got a new car, they couldn't quote me so waived the £75 fee which was great. Every time I have contacted them they have been very helpful and i have never had to wait long for a response by email. 10/10

Got insurance with this company about 3 weeks ago now. When I first installed my black box I had no email to tell me it had been fitted correctly. Started driving and within a week or two I had an email to tell me my black box had been removed and I need to plug it back in or they would cancel my insurance. I went straight out to check and it was still in my obd port. Didn’t get another email but made sure nothing was touching it incase it had been knocked out by accident. Had an email early yesterday morning to tell me they are cancelling my insurance as my black box has been removed on 5 occasions. I have not removed my black box once so I think this is absolutely rediculous. Don’t get insurance with this company as I have ready plenty other reviews that say the same as me. I now cannot find a company that will insure me due to having a policy cancelled.

DO NOT TRUST. I recently found out that they put up the price of my insurance each month from £89 to £171 for a black box. I never received any sort of email or message from Wise Driving letting me know they will be putting up the price on renewal. I gave customer services a call and asked for a refund as I was not aware of the price rise to which they responded that I will not receive any sort of refund as they were satisfied on their part as they “sent the email” which I never got and then proceeded to blame me and said I probably deleted the email. When I said that I would like to cancel they told me that on top of taking the extra £167 over the past two months from me that they expect me to pay a cancellation fee of £75. The customer service is beyond poor and disgusting and it is very clear they do not care about their customers at all.

Worst insurance company. Cancelled it a month and a half before it was due to end, and get charged an astronomical amount. I had two failed payments due to issues with my bank, and suddenly it's sent off to a debt collection agency with another 20 quid slapped on the bill, even though I made contact with wisedriving and told them the situation. Do not bother with them!! Not to mention the staff are beyond rude. They told me they'd launch an investigation as to why I was charged so much so far into cancelling it, and they didn't even bother doing so. If you're looking for a good insurance company, avoid this one at all costs.

Worst insurance broker ever! Do not do insurance with WiseDriving.
When I signed in for my car insurance, they asked me to install a black box. I did as they asked, but never got the confirmation saying it’s all done and everything ready. There is chat box💬, I can’t type anything. Basically I looked like a complete scam. Now, I cancelled the policy and they are emailing me again and again.
I wonder was it their plan? Never got confirmation for the policy, but when I cancelled it, they are asking me for £75.

Absolutely shocking despite having emailed multiple times and made telephone calls regarding the black box not fitting they still cancelled my sons insurance. We sent a photo and asked for a different size and all we got was treating cancellations text messages back. Today they cancelled the insurance after we received no response and stated they were not refunding the money. Even after sending a photo and asking a garage to try and fit it. They would not listen, poor poor service and would never recommend

I have been with wisedriving for nearly 2 years. Every time I go to check my scoring the app doesn’t work so I can never find out what my score is.
The customer service is awful. Every time I call for whatever reason I get sent over to other line back and fourth constantly never actually get through to who I need or want. Especially when I tried to get hold of someone regarding my windscreen (don’t even bother they don’t even know which broker your with) which they should know.
So that was fail.
I have cancelled my insurance today so let’s see what the outcome will be ..

Everything that you could possibly expect to go wrong, will go wrong with Wise Driving. Fitted your black box on time? Doesn’t matter, they’ll say they’re cancelling the policy because you haven’t yet fitted it. Been driving perfectly and in accordance with their policy? Doesn’t matter, your driving score will drop anyway. Cancelling your policy? Expect to call them again because they won’t have cancelled it when you asked them to. Expecting a refund in the time frame that you’ve been told? Expect to call them again after that time frame because you won’t have received the refund. Go with Wise Driving only if you have no other options insurance-wise. Ran by the most incompetent people imaginable. Joke of a company.
