I chose Wm Sykes to sell my house because of their reputation as a well established local business and no up-front costs. As Rob told me when he valued the house "Everything is included in the fee".
Ours was a house with an old infrastructure which needed overhaul and Rob's description with Lucy's photographs managed to convey this but at the same time bring out its best points.
The perfect buyers arrived on day one of the sale and three days later it was off the market leaving me delighted but anxious about finding a new home to replace it as I had not begun to look.
Rob acted immediately taking me to see several potential new homes. However it took almost a year for me to make a choice and that's where Emily came in. She was my point of contact - clients are assigned to a team member - and this ensures that information and advice is consistent.
Communications via phone and email were dealt with promptly by Emily, whose wonderful people skills combined with her professional knowledge, kept me on track, and she was always able to allay my worries and find solutions to problems.
Via Emily I received advice about which houses to view and how to make an offer. More than once Rob's amazing local knowledge gave me vital information which ultimately led to finding a new home for my husband and me.

I couldn't fault anything about the service with Wm Sykes at all. They were so kind and professional from start to finish and really helpful with enquiries that were made. Claire Loft was the lead negotiator. She always responded to communications in a professional and timely manner.
Claire always made time for me directly. Claire, Rob and whole team are incredible. The Holmfirth office are in my opinion the best around. It would be impossible to find a better estate agents!
