Homeserve used this company to fix a leak which we knew was somewhere under the house but we didn't know where. Unfortunately it took about 4 visits to finally get it fixed. After a few weeks with the ongoing leak they sent out Kevin from Woolco to us who I wish they'd sent out first time as I'm sure it would have been sorted much sooner! He was very professional and didn't stop the whole time he was here and managed to locate the source of the leak within a short time of being here and replaced the copper pipe. He managed to also put our concrete flooring back to a very good standard and also put right the other inspection holes the previous plumbers had made. Everything was left neat and tidy and all rubbish was taken away. He is an absolute credit to your company πŸ‘.

Really bad experience. First plumber said two noisy bathroom taps = 2 jobs. Would only change one. Left with two mismatched taps. Bear in mind I’m paying Homserve Β£400 per year just for insurance. They apologised and sent someone else from same company to do the other tap. He arrived and said he wouldn’t do it as it was no longer noisy. Had to get homserve to speak to him and tell him twice to do the job all while he was waiting. Took much longer than needed and quite intimidating to have to do that. He’s still sitting outside my house in the van, which again is intimidating .

OMG where do I start. This company came out via Homeserve. I had a Leek in inlet pipe to kitchen under the sink which was in a separate pipe. They came out within 24 hours which I thought was promising. He said I can't do that as its a different department and very unhelpful and rude. Waited in next day and no one turned up. Day three turned up at 3.30pm and said I can't do anything as your kitchen floor has to be brocken away and the tiles are asbestos, he put a plastic bag over the pipe to stop the spray what lasted 5 mins .One week for the asbestos testing to come back Negative. We asked the company why can't they dig to the outside pipe and join and feed a new pip through the sleeve into the house rather than braking the unesessery floor away. And there reply was( hey I supposed we can do it like that). They told me a date they would come out which was in 3 weeks time . What a joke . I done it myself that night In 3 hours with a new pipe joiner and new pipe.
Homeserve and woolco wanted me to have a water leek for a month before they would fix.
DO NOT USE . get a plumber or do the job yourself . They never ring you back. I didn't want to give them no stars.

Unfortunately, the engineer who visited us was not kind and seemed least bothered about trying anything. It appears he prefers to fix only simple issues. He was sent by HomeServe and more focused on denying to fix it. He mentioned the need to remove tiles and back panels. However, my neighbors had a similar problem and didn't have to remove them. There seems to be a complete knowledge gap.

Sent by my insurance company to fix an internal stop tap and a leak located in my garden.

I highly recommend, and would use independently if needed in the future.

Friendly, efficient, and very tidy.

Thanks for your hard work!

Dave and Kevin from Woolco UK Ltd. (subcontracted to HomeServe) came out to find and repair a leak which was somewhere between the water meter and the house. Considering it was a small inconsistent leak, there are three outside taps, the house and the garage that all come off the mains pipe, I really didn't think they would find it. Not only did they find and repair two small leaks, they were courteous, good humoured, patient with my many questions and kept me informed the whole time. Brilliant service and really lovely guys; I highly recommend them.

When you read this review, bear in mind Woolco advertise "24/7 emergency" response. They were subcontracted by our insurers Homeserve, after a leak detection visit by Polygon complete with infrared imaging, to repair our heating system today. The job is to replace and braze a leaking T-Junction under the floor which has downed our entire heating system. The appointment was for today. We started getting worried when they hadn't arrived by lunchtime. An engineer arrived this afternoon at about 3 and the plumber (who fully knew it was under concrete) told us he wasn't able to repair it because he couldn't use a Kango, and had to rush off to another appointment. Bear in mind this is a so-called emergency contractor who were booked in 2 days ago by Homeserve and provided with a survey stating that the pipe position was marked with yellow chalk on the concrete floor and they are now telling us they can only fix it in 4 days time on Monday. Why he even came out is beyond me. Total elapsed time is so far 6 days. If you have an emergency, it may be quicker to enrol in a plumbing course and do it yourself. So far we've had 2 weeks without heating or hot water in January in East Anglia with record low temperatures, and we have a young child. One star for finding our address.
