This post office closes at 4:30 or sometimes earlier. Don’t expect any help after that time even though staff may be present. You are better off trying a different post office for any assistance. I don’t understand how this can be a profitable business when it operates in its own business hours.

Would give zero star rate if possible. THE worst post office branch in the area. It is hardly ever open or available, shortage of staff and never any apology or care. What is the point at all of trading within this petrol station Most frustrating and staff totally and rudely indifferent!

Went in Sunday afternoon "sorry its closed" we're open Monday she said eating her sandwich. Online said your open. Yeah it does nah we can't change that. AVOID!!

This post office is an absolute joke. I don't know how they're allowed to trade. They frequently close before 5.30pm because the staff decide to just clock off early! Never an apology. They need to change their opening hours as by the time you've driven there to catch them open, there's no time to go to another post office who actually open when they say they do.

Absolutely useless! Needed to pick up an urgent parcel when I finished work. Checked opening hours online which stated it closed at 5.30pm so I rushed over immediately. Got there at 5.15pm and I was told it was closed. When i explained that I was only wanting to pick up a parcel and that the opening hours online said 5.30pm, the response I got was "sometimes it just closes early". Staff weren't interested in helping at all. Very frustrating and disappointing. Now I have to make another trip another day.

This is a sub post-office operated within a garage. The owner of the garage should lose the right to operate it as the service provided is sub-standard. There is often insufficient staff, and fuel customers take priority, leaving post office customers waiting. This results in long queues and excessive waiting times. It's not uncommon to find it closed with no good reason. I live close by, but I now travel further afield as the service here is so poor even when it is open.

Gone in a few times at 4:30pm and have been told it is closed early for no particular reason, even though official hours are until 5:30pm. Can’t rely on them at all, especially for those who need to post parcels after finishing work. Just change the opening times if you want to close early!

The post office at Eaglescliffe is polite, willing to go the extra mile to make sure that the customer is satisfied and the opening hours are excellent, I do not think there is another post office that is open 8am to 9pm seven days a week. Before we had this post office, we had one in Yarm that opened 9am to 5 pm four days a week and was closed on a Wednesday. Some people should remember that before moaning that they closed early one day. I bet there are many people that would be over the moon to have their post office open for a part of that time. I can only say about the service I got every time I went in and that was excellent.
