Rented a room through Gabriel. Very good and they were extremely friendly when showing me the property and I felt in good hands. After I decided to rent he was so fast to ensure he could effectively facilitate my move. He was understanding of my situation and even made adjustments for my situation to complete the move.

Zest property management is indeed a reliable company. I am enthusiast about their way of service and dedicated outcome and delivery. One of their staff, Gabriel is always quick and fast to reply and attend to your needs. He made our entire process and completion so smooth. I truly appreciate his hard work and commitment. Because of his service, i will be doing business with Zest management for long. A very recommendable trustable company.

Rented from Zest for approx 1.5 years, until the end of 2023.

One of the *only* positives was that it was quick and easy to get a room and a tenancy agreement. However once I moved in, lots of problems quickly arose and Zest left me and the other housemates feeling completely stranded.

Most of the 5 star reviews here are fake, as Zest offer a "lucky draw" for tenants to win some rent money back if you leave them a 5 star review. That lucky draw was quickly never mentioned again by Zest after the first month of tenancy. I have no idea if anyone ever actually won anything.

Zest take a long long time to respond to any complaints or maintenance requests. Our washer and dryer broke numerous times during the tenancy, leading to me having to go to friends houses just to wash clothes, and Zest would never respond to anyone's complaints about it. Not even to let us know that they were aware of the issue. Just complete radio silence.

Multiple housemates told me about their rooms leaking water through the ceiling, other people's sewage coming up into their toilet, or long-term mould issues in the rooms.

I was thankful that I lived with a bunch of good decent guys, but Zest failed to make sure our home was safe and useable.

Coming to the end of my tenancy, I had to hound Zest with emails and phone calls for weeks, just to get my deposit back.

Bad experiences all around once you move in.

Great property and great price, everything was fully cleaned for when I moved in which was amazing. Gabriel Paul the agent in charge was amazing at his job, friendly, fast service, knowledgeable and went above and beyond. I have been renting for the past 7years and Gabriel has been the best property manager I’ve come across. I’m very satisfied with the service.

Most of the reviews is about Gabriel, he's the best asset this company has by far. Moving in is great but getting anything sorted whilst you're in was a nightmare. I'm not sure what happened but our landlord moved on from zest to another management company and the difference in communication and customer service has been superior. Zest has some very nice affordable rooms and huge potential but they need to figure a lot of the basics out.

He was very flexible for the viewing from the start, as well as provided me with all the relevant and useful information about the property and location. He was very accommodating to me moving from a different city, and even let me arrange a date that suited me best for collecting my keys. He was also very helpful from the point I decided I would like to put a deposit down and made the whole process as stress-free as it possibly could be. I am grateful to Gabriel and Zest Property Management for the smooth process.
