Both ladies are rude. However they will be nicer to certain people that tend to be a lot older, I am always polite and nice when I go in but always get to opposite.

Personally, I have always been happy with the service provided at Lenham Post Office. Sometimes I have had to wait, but that is not a problem for me. I will say the lady who serves me in the most part is efficient and polite. I actually like that there is authenticity to this lady and that she is not gushingly over the top. Does her job, says please and thank you. Good enough for me.

Simply unacceptable to state opening hours to 3pm and then to be closed for the day at 2.45pm. Especially in consideration of the poor people who’ve made an effort to get there by 3pm and who may be reliant on public transport or have mobility issues?

Possibly the worst post office I have ever been to. The two ladies who work there are rude and make you feel like the biggest inconvenience. If they don’t like their job... why work there They pick and choose who they wish to be friendly and helpful to. All my family members have had bad experiences and been on the receiving end of these rude ladies! In particular my younger sister who was spoken to so disrespectfully. I agree with the phrase “respect your elders” however I also think respect is earned and just because you are older and have worked somewhere a long time... it doesn’t give you the right to treat others disrespectfully and rude.
Opening times online are completely different to actual opening times..... they seem to open and close whenever they please!
I avoid using it where possible as these ladies really are awful to deal with !

This is the worst post office I have ever been to and never will go to again..! The two old ladies working there are rude and make you feel like the biggest inconvenience. You don’t like your job get lost, you are over 65 anyway... why work there They pick and choose who they wish to be friendly and helpful to. All my friends had same bad experiences and been on the receiving end of these rude ladies!
Absolutely Disgusting Old Women, someone need to remove their sorry but of there before someone will really lose their temper! I have a video evidence of how they treat customers! 🤬😡👎

If I could put 0 stars I would today we went in and asked about returning a gazebo. Straight away they said no and was so rude. I tried to ask for advice where to take it but the older lady wouldn't let me finish at first and again dismissed me.she was so rude and stand off ish. This isn't the first time she has been rude! She was even rude about my dog yet she has three of them behind the counter. They really make you feel unwelcome at this post office and like its a chore to hslp you. If I was you I would go to kingswood they are so much nicer and they will even find out things for you (such as my gazebo) to if they can or someone else can take it, they very nicely took mine. There isn't a weight restriction for below 25kgs but Lenham post office will make one up just so they don't have to take it, they really don't seem to like what they do, they only seem to be there for the pay check. And rumours have it that the area manger is aware but says its only a small post office so it doesn't matter.

Rude and unhelpful staff, went to put money on my bank card, given them £80 and after lady turned on her chair and back she said it's £70. Absolute disgrace. Very disappointing, I know, how much money I had going there. Parcels are being weighed and overcharged on several occasions, every question is an inconvenience. The gentleman working there is very polite and helpful, unfortunately can't say the same about the ladies.

Can I just say I'm amazed at the reviews for Lenham Post Office. I always find the staff to be helpful and friendly, they ask after any events happening in our lives and always make a point of giving our dog a biscuit (or 2) when he's with us in the shop. It's hard to get it right isn't it, if there's a queue and they're chatting to their customers people moan about how long it takes to serve each person, if they don't chat but just crack on with the task in hand, they're considered unfriendly.
