I’ve been a Cars on Toast regular since the very beginning, often coming along with friends and meeting plenty of new faces along the way. It’s a fantastic event in a great location, with the perfect balance of atmosphere and setting.

The layout works really well: hard standing parking at the front reserved for supercars, and a large grass field behind that can accommodate plenty more vehicles. There’s also a covered outdoor area with a bar and music, lots of picnic benches for seating, and of course the pub itself. It creates a welcoming, relaxed environment that really makes the most of the space.

Although I’ve recently sold my Sunday toy (so no more hard standing parking for now!), I’ll definitely be back on the grass with the daily until I find a replacement for next season.

What really makes Cars on Toast special, though, is the atmosphere. The team are always friendly and welcoming, and it’s clear that everyone – whether they arrive in a supercar or a family runabout – feels part of the community.

I know both Lloyd and Karl from the car network so buying from them was easy given how highly regarded they are in those circles. It's so important to a car enthusiast that who you buy cars from are equally passionate about cars. The world of hot hatches, which these guys have a real specialism in, can be a minefield as so many of that type of car are abused. However, Lloyd and Karl only buy what they're proud to sell on. Their extensive knowledge of these cars makes them so well placed to fully assess the quality of a car that you'll go on to own. From start to finish this has been easily the swiftest, easiest and most enjoyable car purchase I've ever had (and I've had a few). It was an absolute pleasure to be able to buy something from them knowing I'm contributing in some way to their future successes. Even though I won't be buying anything for a little while now, I know I'll be watching what they bring into their stock with great interest as its such exciting stuff. I love my Renaultsport Clio 200T, thanks so much both 💛

Honestly, buying a car usually stresses me out. I was a bit lost on what I really wanted. But from the moment I walked in, Lloyd and Karl were super friendly and welcoming. I immediately felt this great sense of trust that I had found the perfect place to make my purchase!

I recently purchased a RenaultSport Clio 200 from Karl & Lloyd.

It was refreshing to deal with two people who get equally excited about these types of cars as I do.

Recently bought a Peugeot 308 GTI from Driving Heroes. Lloyd dealt with the sale and was brilliant throughout from his honesty and knowledge about the car to staying late on a Saturday to allow me to view it, despite risking upsetting the wife! Car was also very well prepped beforehand including an extensive service. Overall I love the car and it was a tidy experience throughout, would definitely recommend!

25/08 update. Further impressed with the after service of Driving Heroes. Car needed an unforeseen costly repair which thankfully the warranty covered the bulk of, but there was a large cost left to pay. Lloyd was brilliant and very understanding and we reached an agreement with the cost which I was happy with. Can’t fault Lloyd and his willingness to help even weeks after selling the car, which most garages wouldn’t do, thank you!

Recently sold my car to Lloyd at Driving Heroes, money transferred quickly, car collected (from the other side of the country) with no hassle. Communication is something that is valuable to me and Lloyd kept me up to date with what was going on during the process.
