I feel like this would be an enjoyable experience for anyone, buyers or not, as there is quite a lot going on in each viewing room; many different sorts of collectables and antiques, and the music played adds to the overall atmosphere.

It's definitely hard to take the time to view every single little thing, and is one of those places that you feel the need to come back to again and again.

I would recommend to anyone & everyone of any age, gender, ect.

Beautiful shop that seems to keep going with a huge collection! Good music and a calm atmosphere. The prices are very fair as well. The amount of stuff they have is a little overwhelming as in some places it is a little disorganised and cluttered but it's satisfying when you spot something you want. I bought a taxidermy hoof and the staff packaged it nicely. As a 16 year old with social anxiety and autism they were very kind and patient. I recommend this antique shop for all kinds of people. Although if you're into taxidermy such as myself, you might need a bit of luck to find some here. I'm absolutely chuffed with my purchase and loved this shop! Please go if you find yourself in Hay-on-Wye 🙂

I have recently visited this establishment and I can say that I was intrigued by the antiques on display, I was welcomed ,with an ongoing dispute over what appeared to be a young lady having to delve into her pocket money ,for what appears to of been accident? Though all was calm I must add the gentleman that was dealing with the matter,delt with it in a unprofessional manner. Appearing to be unfriendly and tightly wound, i ask was this necessary towards an adolescent? .
being a social service worker this alarmed me.
as clearly the young lady in question was distressed and embarrassed, I presume was her family with her trying to help pay for the damage and keep her calm the place is cramped and I personally feel that this is not the first or last time an accident will happen, I hope the young lady hasn't been put off from visiting other antiques shops as I find most are very inviting and inclusive .

A maze of small units, great for browsing and some really interesting items to be found. Difficult to get more than the usual 10% discount but then you aren't a celebrity are you? 😉
