Had my blacking done here at the end of season. Hands down the nicest people I've had work on my boat in the last 5 years. Friendly, efficient, approachable and full of interesting stories. The weather did have other ideas about us reaching the marina in time, but the guys here did everything they could to assist our arrival, and indeed to get us back down the stort before a lengthy lock closure.

Throughly recommend - it may seem a lot of effort to get your boat to them, but absolutely worth it. And very competitive prices!

5 stars all round for the lovely & legendary HM team 🙌🏻 I couldn’t recommend this beautiful Marina and them any higher! Rob, Graham, Lee & Angie are all so helpful and knowledgable. We first visited for our boats survey a year ago and have just returned for our first blacking. They made both smooth and easy, especially for a couple rookie boaters 🙂 We’ll be going back any time we ever need a dry dock ❤️

Just had our blacking done there. Rob & Graham were great - super friendly and helpful, especially when we got stuck downstream due to the flooding/down trees and our arrival there was delayed by a number of days. Great value for money and a superb service - can't rate highly enough

What a friendly and cheerful marina, in a stunning setting. Beautiful. We were a surprise arrival due to another boater suggesting we have his dry dock slot because he was stuck above a broken lock. Obviously normally you must book. Good-natured Graham and his team tweaked and adapted their day to accomodate us. A huge thank you to you all. Oh! And the diesel is cheaper than anywhere else. So we filled up too.

Just had my boat here for blacking and to say I'm pleased would be an understatement. These guys are at the top of their game , work carried out and service was exemplary. Graham, Rob and Lee, thank you for taking good care of my boat and of course, helping me in and out of Marina !! 100% recommend.

Great experience. Rob&team are supportive and knowledgeable, Dean from DW Mechanical Handling is brilliant. Lovely friendly and professional atmosphere. I just had my boat there for blacking, some welding and bits&bobs. Huge thank you.

Always nice to have a walk along the canal, it's clearly looked after so paths are maintained. sunny days are especially nice and peaceful.

Much more than just cruises. Hallingbury marina has a dry dock capable of taking the largest boats on the river and offers a range of services including hull blacking. They liaise closely with local marine engineers and they will do their best to coordinate repairs with dock availability. Plus they sell diesel, gas, and do pumpouts. Nice people too. Monday mornings from 8.30 to noon are reserved for emergencies needing dry docking urgently. Highly recommended.
